for making that button you see in the sidebar.  (I'm still impressed that I got it up there without too much fuss -- I'm finally catching on.)

I'm all set to start writing a book in a few weeks.  I got a new laptop, which will make things much, much easier, and I'm going to take a short but fabulous trip to Spain at the end of this month so I'll have lots to write about. 

I feel like I should be saying *something* but this really is a very low key sort of event, so there isn't anything to report.  I'm just thrilled to have some company and motivation to finally do this.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for a calm month that will allow us all time to write what and how we want.
